Growth Hub celebrates resilience of County’s businesses for #StaffordshireDay
As Staffordshire Day enters its’ fifth year, this time it will be promoted in the virtual world, as we continue through the current pandemic. Staffordshire Day was created to celebrate our wonderful County, the countryside, the leisure attractions, the history, the businesses and the people.
We are honoured to be a part of this wonderful County and nothing makes us prouder than supporting the superb businesses which we come into contact with on a daily basis. Our qualified Businesses Advisors have been advising diverse-sector Micro businesses and SME’s through the pandemic. These businesses have demonstrated such resilience and determination to succeed in the face of adversity, which perfectly mirrors our long-standing #SucceedInStaffs campaign.
We have supported many Staffordshire-based businesses, with over 700 calls and 3000 emails through the last six weeks, via the Business Helpline. These businesses are given practical advice through the Helpline and are then in turn able to be guided by our Growth Hub Advisors on a virtual one-to-one basis if required. We have also been running specialist webinars and publishing relevant social media and website content. Many local businesses have engaged with us and we are humbled that we have been able to assist during this unprecedented time. We invite any further businesses who are looking for impartial advice make contact.
So, as we join in to celebrate this virtual Staffordshire Day, we are really celebrating you – the business people who have the gumption to see the crisis through and who inspire us on a daily basis. We are proud to work with you and to be a part of this superb County.
