About Staffordshire Growth Hub

The Growth Hub was established by the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership to play a major role in the drive for strong, sustainable business growth across the LEP area.

It acts as the focal point for businesses that wish to grow by referring them to co-ordinated and cohesive growth programmes, business networks, growth groups and links to specialist information, advice and services.

Since 2016, by utilising European Regional Development Funding (ERDF), we have helped businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire to realise their ambitions by helping them to identify opportunities for growth and to access the right advice at the right time.

We have supported these businesses throughout their growth journey by simplifying the business support landscape and working closely with local authorities and over 120 partners.

Together, we’ve made a real difference:

  • supporting more than 1,550 SMEs
  • helping them to access over £2 million in funding
  • creating more than 200 jobs
  • and unlocking over £2 million in private sector investment.

With EU funding having now been succeeded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the Growth Hub will continue to support our local economy.

As we look ahead to our next chapter, we look forward to strengthening our partnership working to deliver maximum impact for businesses in the region.
