Webinar: Easy ways for SMEs to benefit from Staffordshire Day

12:00pm - 1:00pm

Staffordshire Day (1st May) is Staffordshire’s biggest party of the year.  It’s all about shouting about the amazing businesses across the County, coupled with a jam-packed schedule of events and activities all taking place in the Nation’s Favourite Playground. This year, it’s extra special.  Not only does Staffordshire Day fall on a Friday, at the start of a Bank Holiday Weekend, but we’re also TEN years old.

The first double digits is a big birthday!  We want to make this year extra special, by: Creating a 10-year anniversary journey where every SME is part of the story — and every visit builds the next. Staffordshire Day celebrations won’t just be running for one day, therefore, they’ll actually be running for TEN WEEKS, commencing with the launch of the Staffy Trail and continuing in to the summer.

Compered by Visit Staffordshire and the county council, local business leaders will then introduce ways for you to make the ten weeks promotional period work for you, whether you’ve been involved in Staffordshire Day before or not, and whether you’re a marketing wiz or not.

Speakers:

  • Zoe Wallis of The George Hotel and Bent’s Brew House is also an experienced member of the marketing committee for the Local Visitor Economy Partnership
  • Rachel Wood, Manager of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub.
  • Tilley Bancroft  – Mult-award winning ‘Woman in Business’, Tilley leads the successful Burton-based company Making Trails.
