This workshop will take you through the formulation of a draft environmental policy statement (Environmental Policy). ESP who are experienced environmental practitioners and long-standing sben members, will guide you through the need for one and the steps to create a suitable environmental policy tailored to your organisation’s individual needs.
The workshop will comprise a staged approach to creating an environmental policy including:
- Understanding what an environmental policy is.
- Best practice in the creation of your policy.
- What commitments your policy should include, if you would like to make it fit ISO14001: 2015.
- What your policy should contain.
- Q&A and individual assistance with your draft policy from ESP
The outcome of the workshop:
- At the end of this interactive workshop, you should have a draft environmental policy, or at least a good awareness of how to create one, tailored to your individual company needs that you can take back to your organisation for implementation.
