South Staffordshire: Breaking the silence

South Staffordshire: Breaking the silence

June 17, 2026
The Codsall Community Hub
9:30am - 12:30pm

Men’s mental health, shared stories, shared strength. An event featuring keynote speakers and support providers.

Men’s Mental Health week offers an important opportunity to open conversations that are too often left unspoken.

Breaking the silence is an inclusive event that recognises men’s mental health as a shared issue, one that affects individuals, families, workplaces, and communities as a whole.

This event brings together lived experience, professional insight, and local support to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage open, honest conversations about mental wellbeing.

Stand holders and support organisations
Throughout the event, attendees will have access to local stand holders based in the room. These organisations and services will be available to:

  • Share information on mental health and wellbeing support
  • Signpost to local and national services
  • Offer guidance, resources, and supportive conversations
  • Help attendees understand where and how to access support for themselves or others
  • The standholders create a valuable opportunity to connect informally, ask questions, and take away practical information in a supportive, non‑judgemental space.

Who Should Attend
While the focus is on men’s mental health, this event is open to everyone, including:

  • Men and women
  • Colleagues, managers, and teams
  • Friends, family members, and allies
  • Anyone interested in mental health awareness and wellbeing
  • No prior knowledge or experience is required, just an openness to listen, learn, and engage.
