UK Export Finance’s (UKEF) mission is to advance prosperity by ensuring no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance, doing that sustainably, and at no net cost to the taxpayer. They work with banks to offer flexible, innovative, and competitive financing solutions.

Hosted by Carol Harvey and Kevin Ledwith, Export Finance Managers at UK Export Finance, join this session to explore how your business may be eligible for trade finance and insurance from the UK government. You’ll also learn about what UKEF’s mission, the products and support it offers, alongside what you need to do to access these for your business.


Carol Harvey

Export Finance Manager, UK Export Finance

Carol joined UKEF in 2014 and, prior to that, has over 35 year’s experience in export credit insurance and political risk insurance including 28 years within a trade credit broking environment with a global provider. She has supported the development and servicing of trade credit across the UK in both corporate and SME markets.

Kevin Ledwith

Export Finance Manager, UK Export Finance

Kevin assists companies in understanding export finance requirements and helps identify an appropriate solution. This maybe via the private market or by using UK Export Finance assistance.

He has more than 30 years’ experience dealing with importing and exporting companies working in the International, Trade and Treasury departments of Barclays, National Australia Bank and Lloyds. Kevin has a degree in Finance from UMIST, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and graduate of the Institute of Export.
