SMEs from across the whole of the HS2 route wanted to join free Virtual Enterprise Academy

SCS Railways are currently looking for SMEs from across the whole of the HS2 route to join their upcoming free Virtual Enterprise Academy.

The free academy looks to upskill up to 150 businesses, giving them the tools to work on projects like HS2. Kicking off in April the Academy will run through till June. The modules will cover topics ranging from HR, health and safety, social value, carbon management innovation, the environment, risk management, finance and commercial awareness.

In order to take part there are a number of criteria, to ensure that those attending will get the most benefit out of the Academy.

• A turnover of £1 million for 2019/2020
• A core business offering that aligns with construction industry
• Ability to demonstrate why they would like to take part in the Academy
