  1. This competition is being run by the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub (registered at Judges’ House, County Buildings, Martin Street, Stafford, ST16 2LH). It is being funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
  2. The competition is open to businesses of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, UK, aged 18 years or over except employees of Staffordshire County Council and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the council or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. The competition is being run on the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub’s Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. To enter on Twitter people must favourite and retweet posts using the hashtag #GrowandGetEm or like and comment the Growth Hub’s LinkedIn posts which use the hashtag #GrowandGetEm.

The competition is split into two parts and each has a different prize:

PRIZE ONE

A press release, 250 business cards, a pull-up exhibition stand and 12 hours of free business advice – all totalling over 1,600.

The closing date for this competition is December 21 at 12pm, when a winner will be selected at random. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

The winner will be contacted through the social media platform in which they entered the competition. The winner agrees to press and media coverage and must be available to attend a meeting at the county council’s offices in Staffordshire Place, County Buildings, on Friday, January 4, at 10am. They will be interviewed for a press release and will have photos taken.

PRIZE TWO

A logo design package with three initial designs, two free sets of amendments, a single-page of brand guidelines and 12 hours of free business advice – all totalling over 1,600.

The closing date for this competition is January 18 at 12pm, when a winner will be selected at random. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

The winner will be contacted through the social media platform in which they entered the competition. The winner agrees to press and media coverage and must be available to attend a meeting at the county council’s offices in Staffordshire Place, County Buildings, on Thursday, January 24 at 10am. They will be interviewed briefly for a Growth Hub press release and have photos taken with the advisors.

  1. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  2. The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub.
  3. The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  4. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  5. The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  7. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  8. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  9. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
