The Growth Accelerator

Our Growth Accelerator programme supports businesses in key sectors to scale growth by increasing profitability, business development and revenue, with a focus on management capability, financial clarity and adopting new technology to improve productivity.
Established businesses from all sectors can access the scheme, with priority given to those in advanced manufacturing, logistics, construction, agri-tech and health and social care as the core target for the programme, alongside agri-business, rural manufacturing and creative and land-based enterprises.
The pilot scheme will be carried out over two years, with three cohorts of up to 10 businesses receiving the support each year from delivery partner Turnkey.
Mature businesses based in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent are eligible to apply, with those that have been trading for five or more years, or those on a high growth curve to becoming a scaleup being prioritised.
Applicants will need to demonstrate an ambition to scale turnover and profitability, diversify markets, products or seasons, improve productivity and operational resilience and be prepared to invest in leadership, people and systems.
