Supplier special to support Stoke-on-Trent businesses

A Big Buyers Brunch event, designed to boost business by bringing together buyers and suppliers, will take place in Stoke-on-Trent later this month.

Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, FinditinStokeandStaffs and Staffordshire County Council are hosting the free brunch in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

The Big Buyers Brunch: A Stoke-on-Trent Supplier Special is the latest ‘Meet the Buyer’ opportunity planned for suppliers and sub-contractors based in Stoke and Staffordshire.

A range of speakers at the event will include Jon Rouse, Chief Executive of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Tim Wilmot, Joint Managing Director at Capital&Centric and  Richard Hickman, Senior Director of Planning at Indurent (formerly St Modwen Logistics).

There will be a selection of buyers from firms including Willmott Dixon, Galliford Try and Inside Ltd.

Growth Hub Manager Rachel Wood, who will also be speaking at the event, said: “We are delighted to be bringing this special event to Stoke-on-Trent thanks to the hard work and collaboration of our team and our partners.

“It is the second in our series of planned Meet the Buyer events, offering businesses the chance to hear the latest regeneration news, meet building contractors working in the area and talk about the supplier opportunities available to them, as well as making new connections and enjoying a free brunch.”

The Big Buyers Brunch: A Stoke-on-Trent Supplier Special is at Jubilee Hall, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, on Wednesday 27 November from 9.30am until 12.30pm. and free places are available to book now, by clicking here.
