TRS is an independent employer led programme, originally initiated by former Secretary of State (BEIS), which is dedicated to supporting the attraction, development and retention of people and skills in UK manufacturing, engineering and technology.
The TRS programme was conceived out of a simple but critical need. To help people and organisations deal with change arising from economic / business restructuring.
This original focus on redeployment and skills retention continues to evolve and now includes a wider suite of platforms supporting the attraction, development and retention of people and skills across key business and industrial sectors.
We are a not for profit programme, funded through sponsor and member companies, trade associations, professional institutions and other stakeholder organisations. Many services provided by TRS are free for SMEs.

We provide web platforms to support corporate restructuring and redeployment and have helped many leading companies and business sectors to facilitate these activities and reduce the impact of change and transition often affecting employees.

Aligning with the attraction, development and retention focus of the TRS programme, we have also developed extensive Recruitment functionality enabling all registered companies to promote their vacancies and access a pool of prospective employees.
The main TRS platform supports the recruitment of experienced candidates while the new Talentview platform has collaborated with universities and colleges to facilitate the recruitment of early careers candidates including graduates, students, and apprentices.
