Up to £9,000 grant funding available through the BIC for their New Product Development Grant!
November 12, 2021
The BIC is pleased to announce that their current European Regional Development Fund project to encourage and promote Innovation within Staffordshire has been extended until 2023.
This means the company will still be able to offer one to one support to companies looking to bring innovations to the market.
The BIC runs a series of Self Development Workshops/Webinars to help people research, protect, develop and market their new ideas; provide up to 12 hours one to one support and happy to announce that their New Product Development Grant has been increased to up to £9,000.
The Grant of up to £9,000 is there to help Staffordshire based SMES operating B2B to pay for outside specialists to help them research, protect, develop and launch to market a new product or service. It is offered at a 37% contribution so that to get the full £9,000 grant the company would need to be spending £24,000 on external consultancy advice on their innovations.
Since their inception in 1995 the BIC has awarded nearly £10m to local businesses and notable innovations include: Staffordshire Cheese; MowMow Rocks; Aircom; Cabbunk: Fork Angles and Leak Mate and many many more.
As the new funds is part of an Extension to their existing project, the Grant is unfortunately only available to companies who have not received any funding from the BIC since 2016.
